This moist and delicious double chocolate cake is covered in an indulgent white buttercream frosting and dusted with sanding sugar for a bit of wintery sparkle. All cakes are made-to-order and decorated by hand, so no two will be exactly the same. Your cake may vary slightly from the one pictured.

If your cake will be sliced for you by catering staff at an event, plan for a rectangular “catered” slice size of 1″ x 2″ x 4″. When slicing a cake into wedges at home, servings tend to be larger and you should expect fewer slices per cake.

A 6-inch round cake yields approximately 15 “catered” slices; when slicing into wedges at home, expect 6 – 8 slices from a 6-inch cake.
